Mr. Dazzio's practice primarily involves litigation with an emphasis on employment related matters, insurance litigation, commercial litigation, appellate practice, professional liability and insurance coverage issues. Mr. Dazzio also provides counsel to business clients with regard to commercial transactions, risk management and litigation. He has litigated cases involving personal injury, employment issues, insurance matters and medical malpractice.
In addition to an extensive litigation practice, Mr. Dazzio represents corporations in negotiating and drafting contracts while providing advice as to the impact of contractual provisions affecting litigation and other risk in commercial transactions. Mr. Dazzio also advises clients pertaining to risk management for employment related practices, including discrimination and harassment.
Mr. Dazzio is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Alabama. He is also admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. He is a member of the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association, the Defense Research Institute and the American Bar Association.
Mr. Dazzio was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Mr. Dazzio is a graduate of Auburn University, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Economics. He graduated from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1993, where he was a Senior Editor of the Alabama Law Review and a member of the National Moot Court Team.
Mr. Dazzio serves on the management committee of the firm.
